Halloween with the Chapmans

Thursday 31 October 2013

This year my little guy was old enough to go out Trick or Treating. Unfortunately it rained all day and I was worried that we wouldn't be able to bring him out, but it cleared up just as it was time to head out and see what treats the neighbours had to offer.

Here he is all ready to go out. He loved carrying around his bucket and had already put some of his toys in it to start off the journey.

At first collecting rocks seemed like a much better idea than going door-to-door.

Then after giving the pumpkin a little pat for good luck... off we went!

The first house went great! And being the polite little boy that he is, he signed "thank you" when he got candy.

Yes... that is a ping pong ball in his bucket. It was one of the toys he brought from home (don't you love how this is one of his favourite toys when he has so many actual baby toys!!)

Once back at our house he helped us, until he realised that we were giving away candy!! Then he started to cry and that was pretty much the end of the night for him.

Happy Halloween!!!

Cullen Family

Monday 21 October 2013

How can you not fall in love with this family.

The twin boys are gorgeous and full of laughter.

Their parents are clearly madly in love with each other.

They all had a great time feeding the ducks and jumping off the bench. What more could you ask for over the Thanksgiving holidays!

Mulder Family

Friday 18 October 2013

I was super excited to photograph the Mulder family. This was especially true after hearing that they had found a red wagon for the day.  Adding props to a session can really pull it all together. Plus, Dylan loved the wagon!

He also loved the puddles and at the end of the session walked ankle deep into one of them (sorry.... that was mostly my fault for encouraging him to get close to the water).

This is also a great example of how to coordinate outfits with complimentary colours.

Dill Family

Wednesday 16 October 2013

What a beautiful evening for a family photo session.

These two girls arrived with lots of energy and getting them to stop for two seconds to get a family photo was not easy. But they did great and with lots of patience we finally got the shot!!

Pumpkin Patch

Tuesday 1 October 2013

I have been waiting for my chance to visit the Abby Hill Farms pumpkin patch. I love seeing all the pumpkins pilled high and I knew that my little guy would be in heaven since he is now obsessed with the pumpkins we have at our front door.

We took some family photos at this pumpkin patch last year and it's incredible to see how big my son has gotten in just one year.

This was him last year. He could barely sit up on his own.

Here are some shots from our recent trip.
